The countdown to Christie's International Real Estate annual luxury conference - Luxury Specialist Conference - has begun. It's already on November 12 that the largest and most prestigious affiliate network of the real estate company associated with the British Auction House, founded in 1766 in the United Kingdom, will meet in Houston, Texas, United States of America.
As in previous years, Portugal has once again appeared in this relevant and exclusive event organized by Christie's in the list of countries that hold the most desired properties by investors, namely the Americans, Brazilians and Asians. At the heart of this is the country's incomparable quality of life, which has attracted the attention of the five continents in recent years, and the consolidation of a real estate market that has not stopped appreciating. Portugal leads all the important world rankings, having surpassed the destinations that were previously in the guide of the most sought-after to invest, live and rest, such as the south of France and the south of Italy, in Europe; and Miami, in the American Florida.
Portugal is currently the third most peaceful country in the world, has the 34th most competitive economy, is the second most hospitable country in Europe, is the 26th with the most sustainable development, and also ranks first in the world in terms of tourism infrastructures, which assess the quality of tourism supply. The list of nominations and distinctions could continue, in the health, culture or education sectors, for example. The list is really surprising, because it is unusually long, placing the country at a long distance from any other country of the same size, or even larger.
Ricardo Costa, CEO of LUXIMOS Christie's International Real Estate, a Portuguese group with a reputable presence in the North of Portugal, with a higher incidence in Porto, and in the most desired region of the south of the country - the Algarve -, is once again present at the meeting, to introduce the Portuguese luxury real estate, with values of over one million euros. For the same reason, he was distinguished by Christie's International Real Estate, in 2014, CEO of the office of the year in a universe of more than 1300 companies from almost 50 countries.
