When you buy a house the location is a decisive factor. In the Algarve, a superb summer destination, the beach and the sea are the most sought-after elements.

Buying a house is usually the investment of a lifetime. If you ask a real estate agent what the main quality of real estate is, he will probably sum it up in one word: location. And the answer is not meaningless. In fact, the value of real estate depends on location just as much as it does on the quality of the property itself – its market value, of course. Because, if proximity to the beach can be an attractive feature, it is also very important to be near services, shops, cultural centres, restaurants or transports, especially if you have children. It’s not just a detail to choose whether to live in an avenue with a huge volume of traffic or in a quiet hill.
